Mindfulness Meditation

Every Tuesday Evenings @ 5:30- 7 in the Sanctuary
Would you like to know what to do during centering time at Sunday service? 
 
Do you need mindful nourishment as a Mom? 
 
Have you always wanted some guidance in knowing what to do when meditating?
 
Would you like to practice “The Way of Compassion” as so wonderfully introduced in a recent ministerial message? 
 
Or would you simply like to learn a way to be more relaxed?

 

Judy Schattner will be facilitating this RE Class on Mindfulness Meditation based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn.  Judy teaches mindfulness meditation to individuals and for 12 years has been a member of the Mindfulness Meditation group at UUA in Raleigh.

 

During each mindfulness session there will be a short presentation of a meditation skill followed by the practice of those skills.  A book you may be interested in reading is Peace Is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hahn.
