Facility Rental

​Facility Amenities and Event Guidelines 
Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (BUUF) is available for various events, including wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and ceremony & reception combination events. 
Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions
Officiants within the Fellowship are available to perform wedding ceremonies – the Fellowship ​Administrator will put you in contact upon your request. Each officiant will negotiate, and receive in entirety, any fees charged for their services. Outside clergy and officiants are permitted to perform wedding ceremonies at BUUF if you so choose. Please consult the table below, chair inventory, and maximum capacities to ensure that the Fellowship ​can accommodate the number of guests that you are expecting.

Facility Spaces

Parking: Please note that parking is limited to approximately 30 vehicles. There is an auxiliary parking lot on Tracy Circle about 250 yards westerly from the Fellowship that can accommodate approximately 30 more vehicles.

Fellowship Hall

    • Coffee Mugs

*It is recommended that you bring linens (table cloths, napkins).

Food and Beverage
Outside catering or individual catering is permitted. Please provide the Fellowship Administrator with names and contact information for any individual or vendor who will perform any service at or deliver any goods to Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship for your event.
Facility Usage Policy and Fee Schedule: Boone UU Members

Usage Policy: Fellowship Members
Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (Boone UU) members are permitted to use Boone UU facilities for approved events, and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis as the Boone UU facility calendar allows. Official Boone UU programs and activities have first preference, but an open date booked by a member will be honored. (See Facility Use Agreement for booking procedure). There is no charge for member functions, but donations are greatly appreciated. Values are outlined further below based on area used. 

Facility Usage Policy and Fee Schedule: Non-Profit Groups

Usage Policy for Non-Profit Groups 
Non-profit groups are permitted to use Boone UU facilities for events approved by the Board of Trustees (BOT) once a month without charge, at a maximum of two (2) hours. Non-profit usage will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis as the BUUF facility calendar allows. 

Official Boone UU programs and activities take priority, but an open date booked by a non-profit will be honored. (See Facility Use Agreement form for booking procedure). Donations (or equivalent in-kind services) for this once-per-month usage are greatly appreciated; values are outlined below in Non-Profit Rental Values & Fees, based on area used. An onsite paid** Boone UU building attendant may be determined by the BOT as necessary for certain events, in the absence of a BUUF member.

Fees for Non-Profits
Non-profit group usage above and beyond once a month for approved events is to be charged as follows. This fee schedule is based on meetings or events lasting up to a maximum of two (2) hours. Meetings or events that include food and beverage incur a higher fee. Please refer to the BUUF Rental Policies document linked at the bottom regarding food and beverage.

 Founder's House - $25.00
 Founder's House, including food/beverage & use of kitchen - 35.00
 Fellowship Hall - $40.00
 Founder's House & Fellowship Hall - $65.00
 Fellowship Hall, including food/beverage** - $75.00
 Founder's House & Fellowship Hall, including food/beverage & use  of kitchen - $100.00

*Use of the Fellowship Hall only does NOT include use of a kitchen, even if food is brought in. The Founder’s House must be rented in order to have access to a kitchen.

**BUUF Building Attendant: $15.00 per hour

Usage Policy for Non-Members and Private Groups
Non-member/private groups are permitted to use Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (Boone UU) facilities for events approved by the Board of Trustees; rental fees are outlined below. Non-member/private group usage will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis as the Boone UU facility calendar allows. Official Boone UU programs and activities have first preference, but an open date booked by a non-member or private group will be honored. (See Facility Use Agreement for booking procedure).

​A representative of Boone UU must be onsite to unlock and lock up the building(s), operate the A/V system, and provide emergency assistance for your event. A Boone UU member, if onsite for your event, may serve in this role and perform these duties. If a Boone UU member will not be onsite at your event, a paid** building attendant will be assigned to your event, at a fee outlined below in Rental Fees.

Fees for Non-Members and Private Groups
This fee schedule is based on a maximum rental period of three (3) hours per meeting or event. Meetings or events that include food and beverage incur a higher fee. Please refer to the Boone UU Rental Policies document regarding food and beverage.  A refundable security deposit of $100.00 is required, as well as a credit card number to be held on file in the event of damage incurred during the rental period that exceeds $100.00. An itemized list of damages and an estimate on replacement or repair will be provided to the client within seven (7) business days after the event.

Founder's House - $50.00
Founder's House, including food/beverage & use of kitchen  
  • Monday - Thursday - $65.00
  • Friday - Sunday - $105.00
Fellowship Hall - $75.00
Fellowship Hall, including food/beverage* 
  • Monday - Thursday - $125.00
  • Friday - Sunday - $225.00
Founder's House & Fellowship Hall, w/o food/beverage and use of kitchen - $125.00
Founder's House & Fellowship Hall, including food/beverage & use of kitchen  
  • Monday - Thursday - $185.00
  • Friday - Sunday - $285.00

*Use of the Fellowship Hall only does NOT include use of a kitchen, even if food is brought in. The Founder’s House must be rented in order to have access to a kitchen.

**Boone UU Building Attendant: $15.00 per hour
Reserving Your Space
Once you have toured the property and confirmed that your desired date and time is available, reserve your space by reviewing, filling out (on paper or online), and signing the forms below. Return them to the Fellowship Administrator.
