​Lay Leadership

BUUF is a congregation-led religious organization, and thus we are organized and directed collectively by members of the congregation, as opposed to a primary leader such as a minister or priest. We have, in the past, had a ministerial consultant (most recently, Tommy Brown, from 2012 to 2018), but we are currently 100% lay-led. The Fellowship staff, Board and Committees and congregation volunteers, guided by the BUUF Bylaws, manage the day-to-day operations of the organization and provide direction for organizational goals and activities.
