Partnership with the High Country United Church of Christ
BUUF partners with the Hight Country UCC in two perennial programs, OWL and Three Kings Day.
Our Whole Lives (or OWL for short) was developed in a partnership between the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalist Association. This comprehensive program is designed to support people in their understanding of relationships and sexuality at each stage of their life. Here in Boone, BUUF cooperates with the High Country UCC to bring this program to our middle-school aged kids. Learn more on the Our Whole Lives (OWLS) page.
Each January, the annual community-wide Three Kings Day celebration commemorates the arrival of the three wise men who came bearing gifts for baby Jesus. Learn more on the RE Special Events page.
