She makes an urgent case for a new approach to these tragic deaths, explaining that we need to look at the deeper causes of systemic racism rather than settle for easy fixes. PAST TOPICS
Thursday, July 2, 2020, 6:00PM CNN & Sesame Street Town Hall: "How To Explain Racism to Kids"- Two Parts: CNN's Van Jones and Erica Hill partner with Sesame Street to present a Town Hall discussion designed for parents and children (grandparents and grandchildren) about coming together and Standing up Against Racism. Peggy McIntosh at TEDxTimberlaneSchools speaks to the presence and impact of white privilege that plays in our everyday lives as a hypothetical line of justice.
