Boone UU is excited to support our children & youth with the fall conferences at The Mountain in Highlands, NC. The Mountain is a UU camp/conference center that sits atop a mountain with a beautiful low growth forest of white oaks (some as old as 313 yrs.) that are dwarfed by the winds. This is the setting for three UU youth conferences that take place this fall. This year, BUUF has received interest from the elementary, middle, and high school youth to attend the fall CONs (as they are referred to as). We leave after school on Friday and return on Sunday late afternoon. Dates for the 2018 FALL CONs:
As a fellowship, we want to support this type of opportunity for our youth and families and do offer scholarships as needed. Please contact Allison Rollans, DRE, for more information. Registration is open now! |
