Zoom meeting link: https://zoom.us/j/425789673. Meeting Host: Catherine Fountain. This Sunday we will again gather via Zoom at the time of our regular Sunday service for fellowship and conversation. Together we will light a chalice, share joys and concerns, and then share discussion around what our familiar spaces mean to us. How has staying home (or for some of us, perhaps not being fully at home where we are) and facing the prospect of “sheltering in place” for the foreseeable future changed the way we see the spaces we regularly inhabit? Sunday, March 22, 11:00am-12:15pm: Community in times of crisis. Zoom meeting link: https://zoom.us/j/480320688. Meeting Host: Catherine Fountain. Join us at the time of our regular Sunday service for fellowship and conversation. This online meeting will not look like a typical Sunday service, but we will light a chalice, share readings and joys and concerns, and then have a discussion around the topic of community and solidarity in times of crisis. We welcome participants to share thoughts and readings around the theme of community during this Zoom-based meeting. If you'd like to share a specific reading please contact Catherine at [email protected] beforehand; this will help with planning for time. You can find instructions for downloading and using Zoom (which is free for those who join a meeting) here: https://foothillsuu.org/resource/zoom-resources/ . Here is a frequently asked question page about Zoom from the Manhatten UU. The description and link for the March 29 service will be uploaded here next week. |
