Sunday Service Notes - Taz Kim - February 9, 2020

Taz Kim is a female, twenty-year Air Force veteran who served in Afghanistan. She has devoted herself to serving veterans in the High Country through volunteerism and sweat equity, erasing apparent boundaries with her persistence, dedication, and humor.

Some notes from her presentation:

• - "I am Taz. I am here. I am a veteran. I am here to help today. Will you join my tribe?"
  
• - After a 20 year mission in major acquisitions, Taz was in search of a new mission upon her retirement from the military.
• - She began by giving rides to veterans for medical appointments and helping with veterans in hospice.
• ​- "I am building a tribe and our weapon is kindness." Taz's goals are buidling community and a commitment to one another.
